| 1. Name of Group | C.A.R.E (Communities Against Runway Expansion. | |
| 2. Definition | A Society formed of local people, to raise issues, concerning the development, at Shoreham Aerodrome in West Sussex. | |
| 3. Objectives | i. | To provide a meeting point for Residents to develop strategies and ideas. |
| ii. | To Campaign against the introduction of a longer runway at Shoreham Airport. | |
| iii. | To raise awareness of the long term effects of Larger Aircraft being flown over the Adur District. | |
| iv. | To lobby and Petition local Councillors to raise the issues concerned with: |

| 4. Mission Statement | We would like to see the Airport kept to a scale complementary with the heritage of the site. | |
| 5. Membership | Open to all | |
| 6. Management | a: | The affairs of the club will be administered by the members of the C.A.R.E Group. The Elected Management Group will comprise: Officers Other Members |
| b: | The Officers will be elected each year by majority voting of all other Members, in person or by proxy. | |
| c: | The Management group may seek further specialist advice from whatever appropriate source as deemed necessary. | |
| d: | The Management group will meet as frequently as it shall deem necessary. | |
| e: | Minutes of each meeting will be prepared and kept for a minimum of two years. | |
| f: | No honoaria will be paid to any member of the Management Group. However members of the Management Group may claim reimbursement for services agreed in advance with the Management Group and properly invoiced at the appropriate rate. | |
| g: | All members must openly declare any political or financial interest in the Airport at Shoreham. | |
| h: | All membership fees must be agreed by the Management Group and 2 other members. | |
| 7. General Meetings | Open to all | |
| 8. Elections | To be arranged yearly. | |
